The hotel offered a comfortable room and friendly staff, which made for a pleasant stay. However, the noisy road next door affected my sleep. The decor seemed a bit tired. Overall, a nice experience but some improvements would make it even better.

The hotel is in a great spot, right across from the beach and a nice gastro pub. The room was spacious but had a couple of downsides. The queen bed and single squeezed into the room left a tight gap near the bathroom. The view from the room was definitely not pleasing, overlooking some flat roofing with litter and puddles. The cleanliness was on point, although I noticed big cobwebs in the bathroom skylight. Breakfast was a standout with a huge variety. Fresh fruit, pastries, good coffee, and a great hot breakfast spread. The swimming pool area looked nice, but the heavy chlorine smell kept us from using it. Staff were polite but not particularly warm. The bathroom felt dated, with a weak shower pressure. I expected more for the price we paid. While the hotel has its charm and some really great qualities, it feels overpriced for what it offers, especially with some areas needing a fresh update.

Family vacation enjoyable experience
Had a lovely breakfast selection each morning, from the full English to fresh fruits. The staff went above and beyond, especially Peter, who cheerily fixed our room mix-up straight away.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but still acceptable for what we got.

The kids loved our time playing ping pong in the game room while we appreciated the clean and well-equipped rooms. Plus, breakfast was fantastic with a ton of options that kept everyone happy, especially being so close to the beach.
My kids wished the parking was easier to navigate.

I adored the charming Victorian-tiled fireplace, and the beautiful blue fleur de lis wallpaper truly added character. The location is easily accessible for seniors, making it a pleasant stroll to nearby attractions.
Better lift service for ease of access, please.

I stayed for 5 nights in a Double or Twin Room. The breakfast was quite good, with plenty of options like cereals, fruit, and a hot buffet. The staff was efficient, always keeping the tables clean. The room was spacious with a slight sea view, and it was nice to have daily towel changes and bed making. The breakfasts were a real treat with a huge variety, and I loved starting my mornings with a swim in the indoor pool followed by a soak in the jacuzzi. It was super relaxing overall, though the lack of a designated smoking area near the beautiful terrace was a bit of a letdown. Be sure to fuel up at breakfast, you'll probably skip lunch! 😊
